Captain Jim was an absolute treasure to find! We did an 8 hour trip today. The weather was incredible. There were bald eagles going over head all day. The water is crystal clear and fun to watch the fish run. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and he told us all about Big Foot. Yall, this is the guide you're looking for. We chit chatted for 8 hours and I'd do it again tomorrow! Jim, we will be seeing you again for sure!

This was a surprise fishing trip for my fiancé and he loved it. Captain Jim was super accommodating, showed us everything we needed to know, and was very friendly. He also was super communicative leading up to our trip. We definitely recommend him and would love to go fishing with him again in the summer months.

He took the time to ensure everyone was comfortable with the fishing techniques, making the experience enjoyable for all. We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Jim Miller! He greeted us promptly and took the time to prepare us for the adventure ahead. All of his gear was ready to go, and we started catching fish within the first hour. Jim has a great way of making you feel at ease, offering helpful advice in a respectful and encouraging manner. He’s also funny and easygoing, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear from the friendly interactions with others on the river that he’s highly regarded. You won’t regret booking a trip with him!

Wow. Best decision ever! Took my parents on an Alaskan cruise and decided to do a side excursion while in Seattle. Went with Captain Jim and so glad we did! He was in touch every step of the way and addressed every question and concern promptly and professionally. Everything was set up and he made sure we understood exactly what to do to catch some King Salmon. While all the other boats seemed to be struggling to catch anything we caught 12 huge salmon!!! Both my parents caught a 20lb King Salmon each! My husband and I caught 15lb fish. Captain Jim makes sure to tell you there’s NO guarantee to catch anything which is understandable. It’s Mother Nature after all BUT if you want the best chances I would whole heartedly go with him. He did everything possible to make sure we had the best shot and he succeeded. Even though you can’t keep the native fish you catch we still ended up with more salmon than we could possibly eat in a week lol! Best part? He fillets the salmon as soon as you get back and bags it nicely for you so all you leave with is beautiful salmon fillets! Anyway. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. When else are you gonna get a chance to catch wild salmon in Washington if you don’t live here? Just book it. The scenery alone is worth it. But hooking a 20lb salmon? Priceless.

Captain Jim was fantastic! He was fully prepared, punctual, and communicated everything clearly—and the best part? He went above and beyond to help us catch King Salmon, and we did! We caught TWELVE fish while others around us weren’t having much luck. Although we couldn’t keep the native ones, we still brought home more salmon than we could eat. My mom and dad each landed fish over 20 pounds, while my husband and I reeled in salmon around 15 pounds. Captain Jim made everything so simple. With all the gear and setup ready to go, we could relax and take in the stunning scenery—until the moment a fish was on the line! Then, it was all hands on deck, reeling with everything we had, but the effort was absolutely worth it. What an unforgettable and fun day!
